Packs that need something extra
43 packs can go into a singleplayer world or onto a server. Bundle (Vanilla Experiment) and Trade Rebalance (Vanilla Experiment) are Mojang's own experiments and can only be switched on when a world is created.
A resource pack goes with Terralith, Incendium, Hardcore Hearts and BlazeandCave's Advancements Pack. Hardcore Hearts includes one that swaps the heart sprites for the hardcore style, and for the others it is optional.
World generation packs
Terralith, Incendium, Nullscape, Structory, Tectonic and Explorify change what newly generated land looks like. They only shape chunks that haven't been generated yet, so start a new world with them or travel to places you haven't been.
Where the packs come from
27 packs come from Vanilla Tweaks, 4 from Stardust Labs and 2 from Mojang itself. BlazeandCave, Apollo and ChoiceTheorem made one each, and 9 are listed as community packs.
